      Job Title: Forklift Operator

      Job Description

      The main function of a forklift operator is to operate industrial trucks or machinery in a warehouse for a chemical production facility. This role involves the operation of heavy machinery to safely move product loads around the facility, including unloading trucks, staging chemical raw materials, and tracking inventory with a safety and quality mindset.

      Responsibilities

      • Receive and inspect product loads for accuracy and safely move them around the warehouse and plant.
      • Drive vehicles to transport materials between loading, processing, and storage areas.
      • Manually or mechanically load and unload materials from pallets and racking, including push-back racks, for transport to designated areas.

      • Basic knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and techniques for maximizing the effectiveness of the manufacturing process.

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • High school diploma or GED required.
      • Forklift operators’ license preferred.
      • 2+ years of manufacturing experience required.
      • Experience in unloading trucks and inventory tracking.
      • Chemical Safety Awareness.

      This is a Contract position based out of Eagan, MN.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
