  We are seeking a motivated and skilled web developer to contribute to our web and mobile projects. Full-stack experience is preferred but not required. We have opportunities in both front-end and back-end development and we value your overall abilities - not just experience with specific technologies or frameworks.
  
  You will be joining a small company composed primarily of software developers and engineers. You will be part of a small team working on diverse projects, which may include web, mobile, desktop native, or cloud-native applications.   You will collaborate with other developers to design front-end components.. Qualified candidates should have experience developing applications using modern web application frameworks and be familiar with best practices. Most importantly, you should take pride in your work and have a strong desire to grow.
  
  Developer Responsibilities:
  
  • Develop and maintain complex software applications.
  • Collaborate with other developers and the UX team.
  • Design customer-facing UI and back-end services for various projects.
  • Run diagnostic tests, identify bugs, and ensure applications run smoothly across different devices and browsers.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to processes, tools and technologies.
  • Stay informed of advancements in the field of modern development technologies.
  Required Skills:
  
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Science or related field.
  • Experience building web applications using modern web frameworks and core web technologies.
  • Experience working with SQL and/or NoSQL database.
  • Experience in building responsive web applications.
  • Familiarity with RESTful API integration and handling asynchronous operations.
  • Experience working with a UI/UX team and understanding of UX principles.
  • Comfortable working with version control systems (Git).
  • Great organizational and time management skills.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  
  Desired Skills:
  
  • Experience with Angular, Ionic Framework.
  • Experience with Node.js or similar back-end technologies.
  • Experience with game development engines (Unity, UE4).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools.
  • Familiarity with a diverse set of databases (e.g., Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB).
  • Proficiency with programming languages including Typescript, C#, C++, Go, Python.
  • Data analysis and visualization.
  • Exposure to system design principles.
  • Familiarity with Docker and containerization principles.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
  Citizenship or lawful permanent resident required due to federal position.
