What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Build meaningful relationships with clients
- Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent in their own homes
- Provide assistance with personal care
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and range of motion exercises
- Handle meal planning, preparation, and feeding
- Properly manage household needs
- Assist with administrative work as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care experience
- Availability Monday-Friday between 8:00am and 10:00pm
- Willingness to work some weekends
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Ability to travel 20-30 miles for assignments
- Comfortable working in different environments and with clients of varying care needs
- Comfortable lifting clients and working with bed-bound clients
- Comfortable working in homes with pets and/or smoking
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a healthcare-related service role
- Previous experience working as a caregiver or in direct patient care
