      You will serve as an Operations Project Engineer or Ground Integration Engineer within the Exploration Ground Systems Program at Kennedy Space Center. You will provide leadership in technical integration of cross-program issues, flight and ground hardware anomaly resolution, design/operational requirements, procedures development and execution for ground systems and/or spaceflight hardware/software processing, launch, and recovery operations.

      Duties


      • Coordinates cross-program activities and technical integration with the Space Launch System Program, Orion Program, and other Moon to Mars programs to resolve technical issues within the Exploration Ground Systems (EGS) Program.
      • Performs technical integration in the Firing Room as part of the Integration Console, supporting flight vehicle testing and launch operations.
      • Performs technical integration of complex vehicle and ground system issues across multiple flight elements, ground subsystems, and facilities during Artemis processing.
      • Develops, manages, and ensures successful implementation of operational requirements for vehicle flight processing, launch operations, landing and recovery, and post-flight vehicle processing.
      • Coordinates and integrates flight hardware deliveries and associated ground support equipment from cross-program organizations and contractors.
      • Integrates and communicates complex technical issues and recommendations to senior program leadership and other stakeholders.
      • Develops and maintains requirements, stakeholder expectations, design verification objectives, and design validation objectives in support of ground system certification for the Artemis missions.
