  We are hiring for a Packaging team member to help produce Duke's Smoked Meats at our Macomb, MI manufacturing facility. You will report to the Packaging Team Leader and join a team of about 50.

  Shift: This role is 1st shift, 6am-4pm Monday - Friday, with occasional Saturdays depending on production needs.

  Location: 23 Mile Rd. and Hayes, Macomb MI

  Hourly Rate: $17.50 + $0.50 raise after 90 days

  Benefits start on day one of employment.

  Pay is weekly.

  What Impact Will You Have on Our Business?

  · You will rotate through a variety of jobs, including:

  o De-linking cooked sausage

  o Bulk sausage packaging

  o Hand-packing cases

  o Palletizing/labeling finished product

  · You will follow Quality Assurance standards to ensure a safe food product

  · Participate in safety teams and be engaged in safety practices

  · Develop improvement processes and efficiencies for our production lines

  · Maintain accurate records and paperwork

  Do You Have What it Takes?

  · You will work in a cold environment (40-45 degrees)

  · Repeatedly lift up to 40lbs

  · Wear required personal protective equipment and safety footwear

  · Most tasks require bending, lifting, and reaching

  · Stand for long periods of time

  · Reliable Attendance

  · 1-2 years manufacturing experience
