  Job Title: General Laborer

  Job Description

  The role involves working inside the precast or piping room where you will set cages, apply indicators such as pipe size and batch number, use a blow torch on the inside of pipes, and clean and oil molds. This position requires familiarity with using a tape measure and comfort with working with concrete, hand tools, and power tools.

  Responsibilities

  • Set cages and apply indicators for pipe size and batch number.
  • Use a blow torch on the inside of pipes.
  • Clean and oil molds.
  • Utilize a tape measure accurately.
  • Complete checklists with precision.
  • Follow instructions and work in a repetitive assembly line environment.

  Essential Skills

  • Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
  • Experience in general labor, assembly, or similar fields.
  • Comfortable using hand and power tools.
  • At least two years of continuous employment in past roles.

  Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with overhead cranes is a bonus.
  • Blueprint reading skills are advantageous.
  • Experience in assembly, production, concrete work, landscaping, carpentry, or operating forklifts.

  Work Environment

  The role is based in an outdoor, warehouse, and production environment. The warehouse is not climate controlled, so you will be working in various weather conditions. It's a dirty environment due to the nature of working with concrete.

  Job Type & Location

  This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fayetteville, NC.

  Pay and Benefits

  The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
