- Performs tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs, including onboarding, benefits, leave administration, HRIS maintenance, report compilation, analytical trend review, and ensuring legal and ethical compliance with state and federal laws.
- Maintains HRIS records with accuracy and timeliness.
- Assists with implementation of systems, programs, tools, and processes designed to improve management and employee performance, productivity, engagement, and business results.
- Participates in the development of HR objectives and systems, including metrics, queries, and standard reports for ongoing company requirements.
- Addresses benefit inquiries to ensure timely and accurate resolutions.
- Processes monthly billings from providers, including reviewing billing for accuracy.
- Assists with qualifying events by obtaining necessary documentation from staff.
- Ensures all medical support orders are answered and complies with the requirements of each order.
- Provides annual open enrollment support for staff.
- Completes unemployment audits, quarterly BLS audits, and new hire verification audits.
- Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with facility Human Resources, corporate staff, external agencies, and vendors.
- Perform other duties as required.

- Ensures proper documentation in all position activities, following federal and state guidelines.

- Required: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or similar.
- Preferred: PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP certifications
- Maintains education and development appropriate for position.
- May substitute experience for education
- Required: Three years of experience working in the human resources field
- Preferred: Previous experience in a behavioral health setting
- May substitute education for experience

Position Summary:
The HR Generalist will perform professional level duties related to Human Resources, including responsibilities in the following functional areas: onboarding, employee relations, HRIS maintenance, recruitment, leave administration, benefits administration and other Human Resource related functions. The position will provide on-going Human Resources guidance and direction to program Human Resources Coordinators to ensure enforcement of Seaside Healthcare’s policies and procedures.
