What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Create and edit spatial data and mapping products while performing junior-level geospatial analyses
- Generate, edit, and maintain relational geospatial databases
- Update and maintain mapping standards and work processes
- Support field activities as a field second, workload permitting
- Collaborate with team members on various projects and initiatives
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Undergraduate degree in a related discipline or technical diploma
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar role
- Understanding of geographic and projected coordinate systems and transformations
- Proficient with ESRI ArcGIS Desktop software suite and extensions
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with ESRI Enterprise Geodatabases
- Knowledge of GIS programming using technologies such as Python, R, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with AutoCAD Map or Civil 3D
- Experience in project planning and coordination
- Field experience along with applicable certifications
