      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Perform specialized technical duties in support of GIS Program activities, including GIS data implementation and assessment
      - Review and assess archaeological and historic property inventories against agency reporting standards
      - Compose correspondence and informational materials regarding assigned GIS projects and operations
      - Compile and distribute information related to program activities and collaborate with stakeholders
      - Maintain and monitor assigned GIS projects, informing supervisors of status and progress

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High school graduation or equivalent
      - Two years of full-time experience reviewing, updating, and maintaining electronic records, or equivalent education/experience
      - Ability to independently manage time, priorities, and resources to achieve goals
      - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
      - Excellent written and verbal communication skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - One year of experience in GIS
      - Knowledge of laws related to archaeology and historic preservation, including the National Historic Preservation Act and others
      - Familiarity with geospatial database software and graphics desktop publishing software
      - Experience working with diverse stakeholders and community engagement
