      POSITION: School Based Graduation by Proficiency Coordinator - TOLL GATE

      WORK YEAR: 181 Days per year

      SALARY: Teacher Pay Scale

      GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: This position will be responsible for the supervision and execution of Warwick’s Graduation by Proficiency requirements in their school.

      MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR MAKING APPLICATION: Applicants must hold a secondary teaching certificate issued by the Rhode Island State Department of Education and a minimum of five years teaching experience. Persons must also hold a Bachelor’s and Masters’ degree from an accredited college or university.

      QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED: Candidate must demonstrate a familiarity and strong understanding of the RI Board of Regents and RI Department of Education mandates for Graduation by Proficiency. Candidates must demonstrate ability to use technology to support instruction, assessment and communication. Candidates must be able to work collaboratively and generate support for initiatives.

      RESPONSIBILITIES:

      • Oversee the school’s Graduation by Proficiency Plan.

      • Provide guidance and assistance to teachers and students implementing the Digital Portfolio Software.

      • Provide guidance and assistance to teachers and students completing Senior Exhibition Projects.

      • Coordinate community participation in the Senior Exhibition projects.
