      ✨Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth! Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Group Leader at Uta Halee Academy in Omaha, Nebraska

      Uta Halee Academy (UHA) is a female-specific, residential program that offers young women opportunities to build productive and meaningful futures for themselves and their communities. Through rigorous education, positive skill development, and individualized therapeutic interventions and treatment, we empower youth to reach their full potential. The facility features residential student dormitories, on-site schooling, a dining hall, and extracurricular opportunities for the students.       Pay: starting at $20/hour

      What you will do: As Group Leader, you will be operationally responsible for the safety, care, and around-the-clock supervision of students in the program, through the work performed by Senior Coach Counselors, Coach Counselors, and Night Coach Counselors. The Group Leader’s supervisory duties may also include participation in decisions to evaluate performance, reward or discipline other employees, or responsibility to direct them. The Group Leader exercises his/her authority daily by directing and supervising both students and staff to meet service expectations. This role involves direct care hours with at-risk youth to provide a supportive environment that addresses their needs.

      To be considered you should: Have at least 60 hours of college education and/or military experience, if an external applicant~ Have at least 1 year in a supervisory role ~ Be at least 21 years of age ~ Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test ~ Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry.

      Schedule: Looking to fill A shift with a schedule of 3.5/days on and 3.5 days off

      • Sunday to Tuesday from 8 am-10 pm with a 2-hour break & Wednesday from 8 am- 3 pm with a 1-hour break

      Qualifications

      Experience

      Required 1 year

      Candidate must have at least 60 hours of college education and/or military experience plus 2 years of experience in a human service field.
