      Job Description
      The Center Manager plays a vital role in overseeing the daily operations of the Gwinnett Entrepreneur Center. This individual will be responsible for managing facilities, coordinating support services for members, facilitating programming, and ensuring a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment. The Manager will interact regularly with entrepreneurs, community partners, and County staff. This position requires a proactive, highly organized, and self-motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

      Essential Duties
      • Ensure daily operational readiness and functionality of the Center and maintain organized use of facilities, including coworking areas, meeting rooms, and event spaces
      • Supervise Center staff and ensure adequate staffing during business hours and special events
      • Coordinate incubation member onboarding, orientation, and compliance with policies, and maintain records related to members, including demographic data, business progress, dues payment, and graduation outcomes
      • Provide coaching, mentoring, and general business support to members and support development and tracking of individualized Graduation Plans for each member
      • Create and conduct educational programming for regional entrepreneurs and small businesses and identify and work with regional program partners to deliver workshops, peer groups, and entrepreneurial training
      • Oversee all Center programming, including instructor arrangements and registration process, and track attendance, outcomes, and satisfaction through post-program evaluations
      • Evaluate programming content and ensure alignment with the Center's goals and federal grant requirements
      • Collaborate with County teams to promote the Center's services while reinforcing its identity as a Gwinnett County initiative
      • Maintain comprehensive records related to Members, programming, job creation, and other performance indicators as part of supporting reporting processes to meet Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) compliance metrics
      • Ensure data compliance with federal grant requirements, including Personally Identifiable Information (PII) protections
      Public Speaking Duties
      • Serve as a public-facing representative of the Center for tours, events, and community engagement on an as needed basis
      Other Job Requirements/Information
      • This job may require working evening hours, weekends, and/or holidays
      • This job may require local travel
      Grade
      The grade for this position is 107. Salary will be dependent on education and experience.


      Effective 4/11/2023, this position is eligible for the Employee Referral Program.

      Minimum Qualifications
      • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, finance, or a related field AND
      • Seven years of progressively responsible experience related to entrepreneurship/small business support, including two years' experience as a manager
        • An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above will also be considered.
      Preferred Qualifications in addition to the above minimum qualifications
      • Master’s degree in business, marketing, finance, or a related field
