      Our semi-private golf club in South Central Texas is seeking an experienced, service-driven, and highly motivated PGA Head Golf Professional to lead all aspects of golf operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic leader to oversee a thriving golf program, enhance member satisfaction, and elevate the daily guest experience.

      The ideal candidate is a Class A PGA Professional with strong leadership, operational expertise, and a passion for delivering exceptional service while growing the game of golf.

      Primary Responsibilities:
      Golf Operations Management:
      Oversee all day-to-day golf operations including tee sheet management, tournaments, merchandising, and outside services.
      Ensure exceptional member and guest experiences.
      Maintain pace of play standards and course etiquette policies.
      Coordinate closely with the General Manager and Superintendent to ensure seamless operations.
      Staff Leadership & Development
      Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise golf shop and outside service staff.
      Foster a culture of professionalism, accountability, and hospitality.
      Conduct regular staff meetings and performance evaluations.
      Instruction & Player Development
      Provide private lessons and clinics for members and guests.
      Develop golf programs and grow participation.
      Support club fitting and player development initiatives.


      Tournament & Event Management:
      Plan and execute club tournaments, member events, and outside outings.
      Work with outside groups to maximize revenue opportunities.
      Ensure events are professionally organized and well-executed.

      Retail & Merchandising:
      Manage golf shop inventory, merchandising strategy, and vendor relationships.
      Monitor purchasing, inventory control, and sales performance.
      Drive revenue growth through creative retail initiatives.

      Financial & Administrative Duties:
      Develop and manage the annual golf operations budget.
      Monitor payroll and operating expenses.
      Produce reports and analyze key performance indicators.

      Qualifications:
      Class A Member in good standing with the PGA of America (required)
      3+ years of experience in a Head Professional or Assistant Professional leadership role
      Strong leadership and team-building skills
      Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
      Experience in merchandising, budgeting, and tournament operations
      Proficiency with golf management software systems
      Self-motivated with a hands-on leadership style
