About the Role
As a key member of Clir’s commercial team, you will be the face of Clir in North America, responsible for driving new business growth and guiding customers through the early stages of their journey with Clir.
This is a Vancouver-based, in-office role. You will focus on outbound sales, opening new opportunities, and building a strong pipeline through proactive prospecting and relationship building. You will work closely with internal teams across product, analytics, and customer success to ensure a smooth transition from sale to delivery.
This role offers a meaningful opportunity to influence Clir’s market presence, accelerate revenue growth, and contribute directly to the global energy transition.
Who You Are
• A hunter with a strong track record in B2B sales
• Comfortable prospecting, opening doors, and creating opportunities from scratch
• Motivated by targets, momentum, and closing deals
• Comfortable owning outcomes and supporting the team across the sales process
• Confident building relationships with senior stakeholders
• Willing and able to travel to meet clients and attend industry events as requiredWhat You’ll Be Doing
• Drive new business growth across North America
• Proactively source, qualify, and develop new sales opportunities
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline through outbound prospecting
• Manage the sales process from initial outreach through contract execution
• Clearly articulate Clir’s value proposition and demonstrate measurable impact to prospects
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer needs are well understood and supported
• Represent Clir at relevant industry events, both in person and virtually
• Maintain accurate records of activities and opportunities in Clir’s CRMThis role is based in Clir’s Vancouver office. Travel will be required within North America and, occasionally, internationally.
What You’ll Need
• Proven experience in B2B sales with a hunter or outbound focus
• A track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Comfort engaging senior decision-makers across commercial and technical audiences
• Ability to manage a structured sales process in a fast-paced environment
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across teams
• Fluency in English
• Legal right to work in CanadaBonus Points
• An existing network within the renewable energy industry
• Experience in renewable energy investment and or asset management
