Head of Exp and Design Centers
Irvine, CA/ Full-time
Your responsibilities
The Head of EDCs owns the U.S. Experience & Design Centers, based in Irvine, CA, and is accountable for delivering a world-class showroom network that drives brand elevation, sales growth, and customer loyalty. This role leads the customer experience strategy across all design centers, ensuring P&L and operational excellence while setting premium service standards. The Head of EDCs partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Trade, Business Administration and Service teams to integrate the showroom network into the company’s luxury growth strategy and serves as the key leader engaging designers, builders, architects, and trade partners.
· Mandate Ownership: Lead the strategy, growth, and performance of all Experience & Design Centers across U.S., positioning them as premier destinations for luxury consumer and trade engagement.
· Expansion & Innovation: Lead business cases for new EDC locations or remodels; continuously innovate to keep EDCs at the forefront of luxury customer experience.
· Customer Experience (CX) Strategy: Define and deliver immersive, aspirational showroom experiences that align with brand storytelling and luxury service standards.
· P&L and Operational Excellence: Oversee budgets, resources, and KPIs across the EDC network; ensure ROI on events, traffic, and sales conversion.
· Trade & Specifier Engagement: Build and expand partnerships with designers, builders, and architects to increase EDC traffic, influence, and conversion into sales.
· Events & Brand Integration: Elevate the brand through EDC activations, premium events, and trade partnerships in collaboration with Marketing and Sales.
· Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Service to ensure the showroom network integrates seamlessly into the customer journey.
· Performance & Talent Development: Raise the talent bar across showroom teams; coach and inspire managers to deliver luxury-caliber service and consistent results. Demonstrated ability to raise talent standards and develop high-performing teams.
· KPI Rigor: Set and track key metrics including NPS/CSAT, EDC traffic, specifier engagement, traffic-to-spec conversion, and event ROI.

Your profile
· Bachelor’s degree - Business Administration or Marketing Required
· Master's Degree - MBA or Marketing Preferred
· 15+ Years Luxury or premium retail/consumer goods with significant experience in designing, building, and operating multi-site showrooms, flagship, and retail sites or design center networks. Business development with trade/specifier communities Required
· 10+ Years People Manager experience. Leader of leader management experience Required
· Expertise in luxury/premium customer experience, clienteling, and showroom events and strategy development.
· Strong cross-functional influence across Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, and Service organizations.
· Exceptional financial acumen (P&L ownership, ROI tracking, budgeting).
· Excellent presentation, communication, and leadership skills.
· Experience in appliances, kitchen & bath, premium home technology, luxury furnishings, luxury retail, restaurant or hotel.
· Established relationships within the design/specifier ecosystem.
· Strong understanding of U.S. luxury markets.
· Travel Percentage: 50%
Your Pay & Benefits
The pay range posted for this position is based on the location noted in the posting title. Exact compensation offered may vary based on your specific skillset and work location. If the position is bonus or incentive eligible then the payments range from 0% to 200% of target with details laid out within the plan document.
Benefits offered include the following:

The plan provides a fully vested 100% employer match on the first 4% of compensation contributed and also includes an annual employer-funded profit sharing contribution dependent on company profitability.
· Two weeks of paid vacation for all non-temporary status new hires below Director level positions. Vacation entitlement increases based on years of service with BSH.
· Unlimited paid vacation for all Director and above level positions.
· The greater of (a) 40 hours of paid sick leave or (b) state or local minimum requirements for paid leave (Non-Production Line).
· 40 hours of paid personal leave (Production Line).
· 12 days of paid holidays per year (max 8 hours paid per day).

· BSH provides ongoing product training, uniforms, computer tablet, cell phone and a company vehicle for eligible positions.
