What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the initial point of contact for user inquiries, gathering and analyzing information to address technical issues
- Provide technical support for hardware, systems, and applications, including troubleshooting network connectivity problems
- Assist users with application navigation and configuration, potentially using remote access to resolve issues
- Resolve email issues, particularly with MS Outlook, and help users with Windows Operating systems
- Collaborate effectively as part of a team while working under direct supervision
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must have one of the following certifications: Network+, A+, or Security+
- Active DoD Secret clearance or higher
- Previous experience in computer technical support
- Proficient understanding of Active Directory for password management
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Strong telephone and listening skills for effective communication
- Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to empathize and troubleshoot professionally
- Knowledge of Service Desk software and hardware technologies
