      Job Title: Mechanical Assembly TechnicianJob Description

      Join our team as a Mechanical Assembly Technician where your primary responsibility will be soldering wires to terminals, PCB boards, and other components. You will also engage in the mechanical assembly of sub-assemblies and main assemblies, and test these assemblies using a multi-meter to measure resistance. A key aspect of the role includes reading and interpreting assembly drawings and schematics while maintaining an organized workflow and following detailed instructions.

      Responsibilities
      • Perform soldering of wires to terminals, PCB boards, and other wires.
      • Assemble mechanical sub-assemblies and main assemblies.
      • Test assemblies using a multi-meter to measure resistance.
      • Read and interpret assembly drawings and schematics.
      • Maintain organized workflow and follow instructions accurately.
      Essential Skills
      • 3+ years of soldering experience.
      • Experience in electronics, manufacturing, or assembly industry.
      • Proficiency in reading assembly drawings and schematics.
      • Good hand dexterity and ability to use small tools.
      • Attention to detail.
      Additional Skills & Qualifications
      • Experience with measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers is a plus.
      • Familiarity with ISO/AS quality systems is advantageous.
      • IPC 610 and/or 620 and J Standard Certification are beneficial.
      • High school diploma or GED required.

      Work Environment

      The role is based in a clean production environment, utilizing hand tools, micrometers, calipers, and adhering to ISO quality systems.

      Job Type & Location

      This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Trenton, NJ.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
