      Job Description

      Join our team as a Manufacturing Associate where you will work in a cleanroom environment within the transmitter department. Your role will involve assembling and building continuous glucose monitoring systems, particularly the G6 Pro model. This position requires a manual process, moving pieces down the production line individually, and attaching applicator parts to transmitter pieces. You will be responsible for packaging products for hospital shipment and inspecting each stage for defects. Additionally, you will perform line clearances electronically and enter data into the Camstar App.

      Responsibilities

      • Assemble and build continuous glucose monitoring systems.
      • Manually pair and attach applicator to transmitter piece.
      • Package products for shipment to hospitals.
      • Inspect products at each stage for defects.
      • Learn each portion of the production line.
      • Perform line clearances electronically and enter data into the Camstar App.
      • Maintain pace with the line during repetitive tasks.

      Essential Skills

      • Minimum 4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
      • Proficiency in following SOP, GMP, and GDP protocols.
      • Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment and wearing PPE.
      • Attention to detail.
      • Good attendance record.

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • Experience working in production, assembly, and manufacturing settings.
      • Ability to work efficiently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

      Work Environment

      Work in a cleanroom environment with full cleanroom attire provided, including a mask, goggles, gloves, hair net, shoe covers, and bunny suit with head cover. The manufacturing floor is temperature-controlled and cold, with loud ambient noise. Employees are discouraged from side chatter and must adhere to a strict dress code prohibiting makeup, jewelry, piercings, fake nails, or nail polish. The environment is fast-paced and repetitive, with close collaboration among employees. While overtime is not mandatory, it is preferred with shifts starting 2 hours earlier.

      This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $20.05 - $20.05/hr.
