What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform claim audit reviews for Medicare and PPS Medicare Commercial
- Maintain responsibility for Oasis reports and review unbilled reports on a weekly basis
- Bill Medicare and Non-Medicare claims daily, addressing any claim rejections
- Make insurance calls to check the status of outstanding claims and process requests for additional information
- Answer billing queue calls and collect patient payments over the phone
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school education or equivalent
- Minimum of one to three years of billing experience, preferably in home healthcare
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong computer knowledge and familiarity with Esolutions, Waystar, and commercial web portals
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Medicare FSSO DDE software
- Demonstrated patience, flexibility, and a cooperative attitude
