      Position Overview:

      As a Housekeeping Attendant- Public Areas, you play a key role in creating a clean, welcoming, and comfortable environment for every guest. You'll focus on maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of all guest-facing public spaces including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and other high-traffic areas, helping to ensure our resort always looks its best.

      This role is ideal for someone with a sharp eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and a genuine pride in keeping spaces clean, safe, and inviting.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Clean and maintain public spaces such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairwells, restrooms, and outdoor walkways

      • Perform regular cleaning tasks including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing

      • Disinfect high-touch surfaces frequently (e.g., elevator buttons, door handles, railings)

      • Clean and sanitize public restrooms throughout the day

      • Ensure restrooms are always fully stocked with soap, paper products, and other supplies

      • Maintain spotless windows, mirrors, glass doors, and other reflective surfaces across public areas

      • Keep cleaning carts, closets, and supplies well-stocked and organized

      • Report any cleaning supply needs or equipment issues to your supervisor promptly

      • Notify the team of any maintenance concerns or guest-related issues observed during shifts

      • Assist with deep cleaning projects or special events setup as directed by management

      • Support other team members to ensure all public spaces are ready for guest arrivals or resort events

      • Work closely with fellow housekeeping team members and other departments to ensure smooth operations

      • Communicate clearly and professionally with supervisors regarding tasks, concerns, or improvement suggestions

      • Other duties may be assigned.

      What We're looking for

      • Reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented

      • Able to manage time effectively and work independently or as part of a team

      • Comfortable performing repetitive tasks while staying focused and efficient

      • Committed to high standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction

      • Able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally

      • Capable of standing, walking (4–5 hours at a time), climbing stairs, kneeling, bending, and reaching

      • Must be able to read basic chemical labels and write brief reports or checklists

      Education & Experience

      • High school diploma or GED required

      • Prior housekeeping experience preferred, especially in hospitality settings

      • Valid driver’s license may be required (for use of resort vehicles or equipment)
