Responsible for day-to-day supervision of housekeepers and EVS staff to ensure clean, orderly and attractive hotel rooms, offices, bathrooms and assigned areas of the casino. Responsible for ensuring rooms are properly maintained and reporting any deficiencies to management .

Responsibilities

• Ensure the integrity of guest rooms and the contents.
• Provide leadership to employees, including coaching for improvement.
• Report any issues/problems/items of note to the Housekeeping Manager.
• Report any noticeable maintenance/safety issues immediately to Housekeeping Manager.
• Conduct inspections, report and issue to correct department.
• Monitor customer service levels .
• Handle complaints, settle disputes and resolve grievances and conflicts.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned .

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, or equivalent.
• At least one year of work experience.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to understand and speak English.

Occupational Standards

• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to bend and lift up 35 lbs. and push up to 100 lbs., as needed.
• Manual dexterity.
• Work may be required in confined area.
• Ability to be flexible with hours.
• Good customer service skills.
• Must be able to maneuver in Hotel areas, up and down stairs and reach above shoulder level.
• Ability to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke.
