- Demonstrates compliance with Inova Health System's confidentiality and security policies
- Audits personnel files according to assigned schedule to determine accurate inventory and compliance with appropriate file maintenance standards
- Understands the reasoning behind Human Resources policies, practices and procedures in order to interpret and articulate to customers and Inova team members
- Distributes routine reports to managers and HR such as team member profiles, overdue evaluations, sick leave percentages and memos regarding annual salary adjustments
- Accurately processes all new hires during their eServices Center visits
- Develops and maintains effective relationships with Payroll and HR staff
- Provides biweekly, quarterly and daily reports to customers
- Creates basic reports to provide value added analysis
- May perform additional duties as assigned
The Human Resources Shared Services Assistant performs routine office and clerical duties. Provides comprehensive administrative support for the daily operations of HR by ensuring the efficient delivery of new hire onboarding schedules, processing new hire information and ensuring the accuracy of team member data records. Maintains all equipment and office supplies while providing excellent customer service to Inova Health System team members. Quickly adapts to technical, process, policies and procedures change management.
