      ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

      • Uphold the mission of the YMCA, and demonstrate behaviors that reflect a determined, nurturing, genuine, hopeful, and welcoming nature.
      • Initiate and assist as needed with electronic onboarding process into the PayCom system.
      • Process employee changes into the PayCom system.
      • Process reference and background checks.
      • Process Workers’ Compensation Claims.
      • Process Unemployment claims.
      • Process FMLA paperwork.
      • Assist Payroll and back up as needed.
      • Assist YMCA Branches with employee inquires.
      • Cover reception desk for lunch breaks, vacations, sick days, etc.
      • Assist in the All About Leadership (new employee orientation) when needed (weeknight sessions).
      • Additional tasks as needed.

      Qualifications

      KNOW HOW/REQUIREMENTS:

      • Minimum age of 21.
      • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
      • Team player with personal commitment to nurture the YMCA Mission, Philosophy & Character
      • Development Values.
      • Be able to create a Welcoming atmosphere that is people centered & service oriented.
      • Able to build Hopeful relationships with our members and co-workers.
      • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
      • A Determined, consistent, positive attitude with a genuine willingness to learn.

      TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

      • Must be able to use basic office equipment.
      • Excellent Computer skills to include Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, etc.
