What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and implement various human resources programs, including recruitment, training, and employee relations
- Draft and implement HR policies and operational procedures while providing interpretation to employees
- Create standard and ad hoc reports to improve HR service delivery and support strategic objectives
- Review organizational structure and provide recommendations for alignment with strategic goals
- Coordinate and present various training programs and activities for employees and management
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or closely related field
- Two years of experience as an intermediate Human Resources Analyst or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of federal and state employment laws, agency policies, and HR program administration
- Strong computer skills in Google Suite, MS Word, Excel, and data analysis
- Ability to analyze problems and propose acceptable solutions within legal frameworks
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Relevant Human Resources Certification
- Experience in developing and implementing improvement initiatives for HR programs
- Proficiency in communicating effectively both verbally and in writing
- Familiarity with research and data analysis methodologies
- Experience with stakeholder management and project communication
