      You will serve as a Human Resources Assistant (MIL/OA) in the Marine Corps Recruiting Command of 4TH MARINE CORPS.

      Duties


      • You will maintain close working relationships with civilian applicants to ensure candidate applications are complete and accurate.
      • You will apply current policies, regulations, reviews, and screening applications for commissioning eligibility.
      • You will manage the administration and functions associated with the Officer of commissioning programs and Officer Candidate Course and Platoon leaders Class.
      • You will enter applicant data and maintain applicant/candidate records in electronic form.
      • You will use strong interpersonal skills to affect positive relationships with potential applicants, current candidates, and personal contacts.

      Requirements


      • Must be a US Citizen.
      • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
      • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

      • Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

      • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
      • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
