- Maintain working knowledge of all HRE operations and services; be prepared to answer the inquiry or refer to the proper HR staff member.
- Creates employment badges, maintains door access as well as assigned parking spaces for capitol complex.
- Receive military and VA disability documents from applicants, evaluate the documents, assign veterans preference points in the applicant tracking system.
- Receive inquiries for employment verification, look up employee information in HR systems, and reply to requesters.
- Receive and process mail and deliveries for HRE.
- Greet customers at the front desk, receive visitors, and allow access to HRE training rooms as necessary.

- Two years of full-time work experience performing administrative support work.
- A total of two years of education and/or full-time experience (as described in number one), where 30 semester hours of accredited post-high school course work equals one year of full-time experience.
- Current, continuous experience in the state executive branch that includes experience equal to one year of full-time administrative support work in a human resources-related program area.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team in our Human Resources Technical Assistant position. This position acts as the initial point of contact for HRE phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries about human resources services and programs.
Responsibilities are as follows, with additional duties as assigned:
Hours are 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M., Monday through Friday
