  In this role, the Imaging Technologist is responsible for the preparation and execution of MR procedures. You’ll have an exciting opportunity to warmly greet & welcome patients/visitors/staff & assist radiologists and other physicians in performing exams when necessary. Additional duties include to assess patient condition, produce good quality radiographic images, & ensure adherence to safety standards.

  This positions is located at NYP/Brooklyn Methodist, also providing cross-coverage for CCH as needed. This is a part-time position covering MR services:

  Sunday 12:00pm - 12:00am

  Wednesday 6:00pm -12:00am

  Thursday 6:00pm - 12:00am

  Preferred Criteria:

  • N.Y. State Department of Health IV Certification
  • ARRT Advanced Modality certification - MR

  Required Criteria:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate from an accredited program in the school of Radiologic Technology
  • Must obtain at least 24 continuing education credits every 2 years as per ARRT requirements
  • N.Y. State Department of Health X-ray License
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification
  • At least 1 year of experience in area of service

  Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

  NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.
