      Industrial Maintenance Technician

      Position Overview

      The Industrial Maintenance Technician ensures that production equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of mechanical and electrical systems to support consistent, high-quality output.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production machinery and facility systems
      • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
      • Diagnose and repair motors, gearboxes, conveyors, PLC-controlled equipment, and automated systems
      • Support equipment installations, upgrades, and process improvements
      • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation
      • Work closely with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance
      • Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a strong safety-first culture
      • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and root-cause analysis

      Qualifications

      Required

      • Industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or similar environment
      • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
      • Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
      • Experience with PLCs, sensors, drives, and automation systems
      • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
      • Ability to lift, climb, bend, and work in industrial environments
      • High school diploma or equivalent

      Preferred

      • Technical degree or certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or related field
      • Experience with specialized manufacturing equipment
      • Welding, fabrication, or machining skills
      • Familiarity with CMMS systems

      Job Type & Location

      This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fargo, ND.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
