      About the Position: This position falls under the DoDEA HQ Education Directorate of Elementary Education Division - located at the Mark Center Building in Alexandria, VA.



      Duties


      • Design professional development and instructional materials for facilitators that adhere to the principles of adult learning which align professional learning standards, and cover a wide range of topics.
      • Provide training to curriculum liaisons, specialists, and other leaders in the methods for implementing and maintaining effective instruction and assessment and to facilitate information exchange with stakeholders.
      • Define learning objectives and identify appropriate instructional design strategies for graduate level curriculum.
      • Consult with Subject Matter Experts to support the design of professional learning programs that adhere to the principles of adult learning which align with professional learning standards, and cover a wide range of topics.

      Requirements


      • Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Requirement.
      • Proof of U.S. Citizenship required.
      • Direct deposit of pay is required.
      • One year probationary period may be required.
      • Appointment subject to a suitability/fitness determination, as determined by a background investigation.
      • This position requires a Tier 1 (T1) investigation.
      • This position requires you to submit a Public Financial Disclosure Report (OGE 278) or a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
      • You may be required to sign a transportation agreement.
