What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct research on Agentic AI models and their applications in healthcare
- Assist in the development and testing of generative AI systems tailored for healthcare informatics
- Collaborate with teams to communicate technology-related updates and support project management
- Support vendor evaluations and maintain relationships with academic institutions and research groups
- Participate in the establishment and maintenance of an Artificial Intelligence Governance Program
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Currently pursuing or recently completed an advanced degree in healthcare, technology, or a related field, preferably a PhD
- Demonstrated interest or experience in AI, healthcare technology, or informatics research
- Strong foundational knowledge in generative AI model development and vector databases
- Hands-on experience with Machine Learning and Deep Learning models
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with LLM/RAG models and LLM fine-tuning
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS/Azure) and building data pipelines for ML solutions
- Experience working with large data sets and vector embeddings
