We are looking for an entrepreneurial Senior Account Manager with a passion for sustainability in the Data Center industry. Join our motivated and self-driven team within the Electrification & Automation Business unit, where we focus on developing opportunities with global customers and excel in handling cross-regional business ventures today! In this role, you will be responsible for building long-term, trust-based relationships with international Data Center clients. Your portfolio will include leading Data Center operators, consultants, and contractors. As a Senior Account Manager, you will drive new business from existing clients while actively seeking out new sales opportunities. You will collaborate with the Siemens international Center of Competence for Data Centers, located in India (APAC) and the Netherlands (EMEA), and engage with global clients. The Electrification and Automation business unit is dedicated to designing and implementing medium and low voltage solutions, as well as energy automation projects. While basic knowledge of electrical power distribution is expected, specific knowledge and extensive market relationships within the Data Center industry would be highly advantageous, although not mandatory. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our market success and pursue sustainable solutions in the Data Center industry. What are the responsibilities associated with the job? Further development of in APAC residing end-clients, consultants and contractors, and global named accounts. Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits. Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships. Develop close relationships with Siemens (international) operating capture and execution teams. What do you need to be considered for this post? A bachelor’s or master’s degree. At least 10 years of experience in the sales of power transmission and distribution systems and / or projects ranging from medium voltage down to low voltage. Demonstrate ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level. Basic knowledge related to the transmission and distribution of electrical energy. Proven ability to juggle multiple projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail. You are eager and energetic, using your skills and initiative to seek out opportunity instead of waiting for it to come to you. You have the resilience and determination to nurture short and long sales cycles, with a flexible attitude and willingness to travel.
