      Job Description/Responsibilities

      As an Inventory Planner, you will be responsible for managing inventory across control state/customer warehouses and Sazerac-owned facilities. You will work to ensure zero out-of-stock (OOS) incidents and optimize the finished goods process, driving cost savings and enhancing profitability.

      Key responsibilities include:

      • Customer Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with wholesalers and key operators to ensure their engagement and compliance with our inventory management processes.
      • Process Improvement: Continuously identify and streamline inventory control processes across all warehouses, implementing best-in-class practices to ensure efficiency and cost savings.
      • Cost Management: Lead cost-saving projects across Sazerac, collaborating with site stakeholders to identify opportunities and drive results.
      • Team Collaboration: Contribute to a culture of zero OOS and zero cut cases, ensuring top-tier service for customers and consumers.
      • Data-Driven Performance: Utilize the PDS system to measure progress and leverage insights for continuous improvement across the team.

      Qualifications/Requirements

      Must-Have:

      • Bachelor’s Degree
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
      • Strong Excel experience
      • Familiarity with Power BI
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
      • Excellent organizational and communication abilities
      • Ability to navigate through ambiguity
      • Ability to work independently as well as in team settings
      • Strong priority setting and time management skills
      • Strong customer service skills
      • Self-starter

      Preferred:

      • 1 year of experience in monthly inventory and accounting closes
      • 1 year of experience in the alcohol beverage industry
