- Actively maintain an assigned portfolio of firms by keeping data up to date and accurately recorded in our database
- Maintain relationships with internal and external investment managers’ by supporting and fulfilling time-sensitive data requests, completing outreach when required
- Collect and analyze fund offering documents such as financial statements, performance reports, investor letters, commentaries, factsheets, etc. Interpret documents to track information of interest in our database.
- Maintain data integrity through extensive quality checking procedures including documentation confirmation.
- Research additional information to classify investment products in alignment with CA’s Standards and Investment Managers’ expectations.
- Assume ownership and accountability for the production and final delivery of monthly or quarterly fund performance reports using firm datasets and excel utilities.
- Work with colleagues to maintain balanced firm coverage assignments and responsibilities
- Engage in dynamic project teams that support the productivity of the entire team.

- Education Required: Bachelor’s degree (any major); minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred
- Experience Preferred: 1 -3 years related work experience in investment management or finance
- The ability to operate in a highly productive, customer service-oriented, and team environment
- A keen eye for detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- An interest in finance and desire to learn more about the operational side of the investments industry
- Familiarity with public markets data and/or public alternative investments (long-only, long-short, hedge/absolute return, and public credit funds is considered a plus.

About the Role :
Investment Operations Associates in the Manager Data Processing Group are responsible for all aspects of investment data management for an assigned set of external investment manager relationships; including coordination with multiple internal teams, data collection, data interpretation and input using Cambridge Associates defined methodologies and best practices, investment manager profile administration, audit and due diligence support, quality control and request management. The position is operations-focused and includes back-office responsibilities to support Cambridge Associates’ multiple services.
