Develop, maintain, and enhance our iOS applications
Collaborate with other members of our software development team to design and implement new features
Develop technical & domain expertise and apply to solving product challenges
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with our iOS applications
Participate in code reviews to ensure that code quality is maintained
Stay up-to-date with new iOS development trends and technologies
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
5+ years of software design and development experience, solid foundation in computer science with strong competencies in data structures and algorithms
3+ years of experience in designing, building, refactoring and releasing native iOS apps
Proficient in Swift and Objective-C programming languages
Experience integrating with web services
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and teamwork skills

About our Team:
Core Technology (CT) is a global team responsible for the end-to-end eBay technology platform. This platform runs our entire infrastructure and all the services that come together to form ebay.com .
We are the Protections (Trust) Engineering Team in eBay’s Payments Organization, responsible for building seller and buyer post-sale experiences (Cancel, Returns, Item-Not-Received, and Payment Disputes). This team is also responsible for other products including Seller Standards, Service metrics, and Report a Buyer. We are looking for an iOS engineer to work in the Protections product development team to build applications for post sale areas. As a self-motivated and enthusiastic members of our team, you will work with extremely talented engineers, PM, and Business partners in a fun environment building world-class customer experiences.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York City is expected in the range below.
$114,800 - $176,550Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
