Ensures the streamlined operation of assigned IS responsibilities in alignment with the business objectives of the organization and the IS Department. Guides, plans, coordinates, communicates, directs, designs, and executes IS-related activities of assigned team, as well as provides administrative direction and support for daily operational activities. Works closely with decision makers on other teams and in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization. Defines and implements IS policies, procedures, and best practices.Education: Bachelor's degree. Graduate degree desirable, in a science or business concentration, with an emphasis in computer information systems/analytics.Licensure/Certification: Epic, PMP, Security and/or IS certification a plus, but not required.Experience: Procedural Application (Radiology, Cardiology, OR, Anesthesia) experience strongly preferred. Eight (8) years combined experience in functional discipline operations and/or management, preferably in a multi-hospital or medical center with an integrated delivery network. Strong communication skills at all levels. Should demonstrate line experience in preparation and control of budgets, personnel administration, contractor management and direction of others. Must have good verbal and written communication skills and recognized leadership qualities. Demonstrates skill and/or experience in following root cause analysis, project management, financial management and problem solving. Must be available and accessible 24/7/365.About the company
