What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design, build, and maintain data integrations across operational systems, Dataverse, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Dynamics 365
- Develop, support, and optimize ETL and ELT processes for analytics and reporting platforms, including Power BI
- Monitor data quality through validation rules, reconciliation processes, and quality checks
- Collaborate closely with the Business Data Analyst to align data models and integration logic with reporting requirements
- Maintain clear technical documentation for data flows, integrations, transformations, and DevOps processes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Five (5) or more years of experience in data integration, data management, or DevOps within Microsoft-based environments
- Hands-on experience with Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Dataverse, and Dynamics 365 integrations
- Strong proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and data transformation
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, data engineering, or equivalent experience; master's degree preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, including working with vendors and cross-functional teams
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tools
- Familiarity with APIs, ETL/ELT processes, and system integration best practices
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance standards such as FERPA
- Experience with automation scripting using PowerShell or Python preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
