      PAY RANGE: $112,200.00 - $130,000.00 ANNUALLY

      GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

      The IT Project Management Office (IT PMO) Supervisor supports Senior Leadership and the information technology project portfolio in ensuring strategic alignment, governance control, resource management, value management, change management, and continuous improvement. The IT PMO Supervisor leads a team of professionals including Sr. Project Managers and Project Managers and is responsible for the oversight of portfolios, programs, and underlying projects. This position establishes and maintains the IT PMO governance framework, key metrics, portfolio and project management standards, resource oversight, and delivery standards in support of credit union strategic goals. The IT PMO Supervisor is also responsible for coordinating project delivery in a hybrid environment, understanding the complexities of delivery both waterfall and agile initiatives as appropriate while fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

      TASKS, DUTIES, FUNCTIONS:

      1. Supervise, coach, and mentor Senior Project Managers and Project Managers in the execution of IT projects and programs.
      2. Ensure adherence to IT PMO standards, procedures, and reporting requirements as established by the IT PMO Manager and Supervisor.
      3. In conjunction with the IT PMO Manager, establish and monitor key performance indicators relating to the delivery of projects at the credit unit as well as the performance of the resources supporting those projects.
      4. Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and escalate as appropriate to the IT PMO Manager.
      5. Support project teams in resolving project-level challenges and removing impediments.
      6. Oversee project documentation, status reporting, and compliance with governance requirements.
      7. Facilitate communication and collaboration among project teams, stakeholders, and leadership.
      8. Participate in the review and preparation of materials for governance committees as directed by the IT PMO Manager.
      9. Assist in onboarding, developing, and evaluating project management staff.
      10. Provide input on performance evaluations and professional development plans for direct reports.
      11. Maintain “lessons learned” and contribute to continuous improvement of project management practices.
      12. Support compliance with regulatory, audit, and organizational policies as directed.
      13. Coordinate with Enterprise Project Management Office on policies and procedures, as well as escalations on specific project activities.
      14. Perform other related duties as assigned by the IT PMO Manager.
      15. Develop and maintain an understanding of the pertinent regulatory requirements and risks inherent to job responsibilities, establish, and maintain control activities that mitigate those risks consistent with the Credit Union’s risk appetite, and ensure operational integrity and compliance with applicable regulations.

      PHYSICAL SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND EXERTION UTILIZED IN THE PERFORMANCE OF THESE TASK:

      1. Strong leadership and project management skills.
      2. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
      3. Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, ServiceNow Jira, Azure DevOps).
      4. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
      5. Self-directed and able to work independently and as part of a team.
      6. Proficient in Microsoft Office products.

      ORGANIZATIONAL CONTACTS & RELATIONSHIPS:

      1. INTERNAL: All levels of staff and management, including Senior Management.
      2. EXTERNAL: Members, vendors, suppliers, government agencies, credit union industry associations and peers at other financial institutions.

      QUALIFICATIONS:

      1. EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field is strongly preferred.
      2. EXPERIENCE: Minimum five years of portfolio and/or project experience required, including experience managing complex projects end-to-end, preferably in a financial institution. Experience managing programs required. Experience leading a team of professional level staff is preferred.
      3. KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS:
        1. Solid understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
        2. Experience with project management tools and reporting.
        3. Knowledge of financial products and services preferred.
        4. Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
        5. Customer-focused attitude and proactive work style.
        6. Ability to evaluate business objectives and develop action plans.
        7. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
        8. Ability to foster a collaborative and results-oriented team environment.

      PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

      1. Prolonged sitting throughout the workday with occasional mobility required.
      2. Corrected vision within the normal range.
      3. Hearing within normal range. A device to enhance hearing will be provided if needed.
      4. Ability to lift 20 lbs. as may be required.
      5. Occasional movements throughout the department daily to interact with staff, accomplish tasks, etc.
      6. May require long work hours to accomplish tasks.
      7. Occasional travel may be required locally, statewide, and throughout the United States to attend seminars and vendor group meetings. Overnight travel and evening schedules included.
      8. Prolonged use of telephone to accomplish tasks.

      LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:

      Project Management Professional (PMP) and (PfMP) certifications from the Project Management Institute (PMI) or Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP) from the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) preferred. Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or equivalent Agile/Scrum certification highly desirable.
