      POSITION SUMMARY

      We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Cyber Security Intern to join our team. As a Cyber Security Intern, you will work alongside experienced professionals to help protect our organization's digital assets, identify vulnerabilities, and implement security solutions. This internship offers hands-on experience in a dynamic environment, providing you with the opportunity to develop foundational skills in cyber security and information technology.

      KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

      · Assist in documenting security policies, procedures, and incident reports.

      · Proactively monitor the environment to detect and implement steps to mitigate cyber-attacks before they occur.

      · Participates in threat hunting and threat detection. Help perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing under supervision.

      · Perform tasks using a range of enterprise security tools.

      · Monitor security alerts and assist in triage.

      · Monitor security related tickets and perform necessary activities to respond to or resolve the tickets.

      · Collaborate with fellow interns within the internship program

      JOB REQUIREMENTS

      Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

      · Strong writing skills, as well as the ability to articulate security-related concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff.

      · Provides timely and accurate distribution of information and reports related to information security activities, products, processes and software.

      · Familiarity with security principles, practices, and technologies.

      · Knowledge of the NIST and MITRE Att&ck Framework.

      · Understanding of networking, firewalls, SIEM, EDR, IDPS, and DLP concepts.

      · Ability to work cross-functionally with other IT units on shared projects and initiatives

      · Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, including the ability to create and edit spreadsheets in Excel and develop simple PowerPoint presentations.

      Education

      · Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security Engineering or related field.

      Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
