- Serves as technical consultant and liaison to network and other IT management and staffs throughout the DLA and DoD on the DLA network environment and on networks in general.

- Plans, schedules and participates in network hardware/software testing, deployments, implementations, and service allocations, to include performing liaison functions with IT personnel and network specialists at other DLA sites.
- Develops and/or modifies test plans, conducts tests, analyzes test results with respect to the acceptance plan for new or modified hardware and software for the ETN.
- Participates in studies as a team member, accomplishes individual projects, and coordinates intra-agency projects.
- Provides assessments to include reports of technical findings and recommendations to the appropriate DLA and DISA staff.
- Provides advice and guidance on the implementation for network security in accordance with guidelines coordinated with the DLA HQ and DLA Cyber Security.
- Participates in the design, testing, implementation and maintenance of network security software, hardware, and techniques within the DLA.
- Ensures integrity of maintenance actions to the installed network and its components.
- Provides on-site hardware and software support for new/modified system and program implementations on an as needed basis.
