      Job Title: Java Full Stack, AVP

      Location: Pune, India

      Role Description

      This role is part of the global technology team supporting Pre-trade(Dealer to Client) lifecycle solutions for Investment Banking clients. As a Senior Engineer, you will design and architect application components, evaluate suitable technologies, develop reusable frameworks, and promote standardization. This is a hands‑on development position focused on Java & its ecosystem, building microservices using Spring REST, Java/JEE, and multi‑threaded, low‑latency techniques. The role offers the opportunity to work in an agile, cross‑functional team while gaining broader exposure to Investment Banking technology.

      Your key responsibilities

      • Design, develop, enhance, and maintain a large mission-critical Information Technology (IT) system which runs on 20,000+ CPU cores
      • Collaborate with users and technical teams in London and Berlin
      • Perform technical analysis to present pros and cons of various solutions to problems
      • Plan and deliver solution in 2-week sprints and 5 sprints in a SAFe Program Increment
      • Work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities with a constant focus on delivery
      • Balance business demands and IT fulfilment in terms of standardization, reducing risk and increasing IT flexibility

      Your skills and experience

      • Server‑side Java development, including multi‑threading
      • Experience with Git/Bitbucket, Maven/Gradle, and CI tools like TeamCity/Jenkins
      • Strong understanding of architectural patterns, low‑latency systems, and scalable platforms
      • Hands‑on experience with Java, Spring, microservices, RESTful APIs, and cloud deployment (GCP, Fabric, Azure)
      • Familiarity with messaging technologies such as Solace or Kafka
      • Working knowledge of Agile and SAFe methodologies; exposure to Python or Scala
      • Proficiency with SQL, caching technologies (Coherence, Redis), and build/deployment pipelines
      • Front‑end exposure to HTML5 and AngularJS
