What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support the adoption of Application Security and DevSecOps automation across development teams
- Train and educate product and engineering teams on information security concepts and standards
- Participate in threat modeling and design reviews to assess security implications
- Operate code scanning tools and technologies as part of the secure software development lifecycle
- Collaborate with teams to measure and communicate the effectiveness of risk management processes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Hands-on exposure to application security concepts and secure coding practices
- Practical experience with Python for scripting and automation and DevOps tooling such as Docker and Terraform
- Familiarity with OWASP ASVS and the OWASP Top 10
- Strong analytical and technical skills to analyze vulnerabilities and propose solutions
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Progress toward industry certifications (e.g., Security+, SSCP, CCSK)
- Experience in security communities, CTFs, or open-source projects
- Exposure to risk frameworks or formal governance processes
