What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide security monitoring and incident response for cybersecurity events
- Monitor and analyze logs and alerts to identify actionable security incidents
- Conduct proactive threat hunting to detect potential incidents
- Respond to SOC cybersecurity tickets and provide incident response support
- Investigate, document, and report on SOC tickets to ensure compliance with processes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be available for night shifts from Sunday to Thursday, 8:00 PM to 04:30 AM
- Experience in security monitoring and incident response
- Familiarity with cybersecurity events and threat detection
- Ability to investigate and document incidents in a timely manner
- Strong communication skills for escalations and reporting
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC)
- Knowledge of emerging cyber threats and tactics
- Familiarity with security information and event management (SIEM) tools
- Relevant certifications in cybersecurity
- Experience in collaborating with partners for incident response
