Primary Details
Time Type: Full time Worker Type: Employee Help improve business growth with the use of technology for product enhancements and system designs elicited from the BA/QA. The job holder is responsible for the handling of projects in relation to the system design, database architecture and system integrations.Opportunity:
•Working with Business Analysts, business stakeholders and other technical leads to understand business and project requirements; and translate those into robust, efficient, and scalable technical designs
•Actively participate in implementing and maintaining software engineering best practices across the development lifecycle, including continuous integration / continuous delivery; build, test and deployment automation; and quality focused development practices
•Driving an engineering focus and quality-first approach with development teams, including outsourced, offshore and internal teams.
•Identify, define, document and advocate for the most appropriate way to implement business requirements to achieve stated business goals objectives and achieve the product vision, whilst remaining aligned with organisational target architectures and roadmaps
•Identify and define re-usable design patterns that address common requirements and are robust, flexible, and extensible
•Leading and facilitating requirements discussions, including producing and demonstrating high fidelity prototypes of proposed solution components, and demonstrate these to senior stakeholders, to gain feedback and input on direction
KPIs:•Proactive self-starter who can shape technical work packages
•Proven track record of delivery including working on a project from pre-inception through to business and technical delivery; and including in an Agile delivery environment
•Strong focus on software engineering disciplines and best practices
•Ability to code/configure technically complex solutions
•Ability to learn complex business and system problems quickly
•Creativity and alternative, open thinking to generate and support new or better ways of doing things
Skills Required•> 2 years of experience in ESB, MQ, or different messaging platforms
•Familiarity with various integration patterns and architectures (SOA, Microservices, etc)
