      Key Account Manager

      Global Forwarding Freight – South Africa has an opening for a Key Account Manager where you will maintain and develop additional Business for overall sales development of DHL Global Forwarding Sales & Marketing function. Join us now in connecting people and improving lives.

      In this Key Account Manager position

      • You will respond to customer enquiries and complaints
      • You will manage and sell within define portfolio of existing customers and win lasting business relationship with DGF.
      • You will be responsible for establishing customer profiles and customer needs and maintain and support interdepartmental relationships.
      • You will collaborate with colleagues across the organization to achieve shared goals.
      • You will develop sales within existing portfolio and plan strategy activities to achieve target budgets.
      • You will conduct high quality presentation of the entire range of standardized products to customers.
      • You will develop target lists of new business within existing portfolio and continuously review and update.
      • You will establish and present customized offers to customers.
      • You will negotiate with customers on contractual terms of service provision that is aligned to corporate sales policy and procedures.
      • You will adhere to approved credit limits granted to customers and enforce previously agreed payment terms.
      • You will prepare and realize planned sales calls and support receivables functions.
      • You will maintain all necessary information to assess credit worthiness of existing customer.
      • You will ensure customer commitments are clearly communicated to respective operations – clear business set up process.
      • You will report activities, quotes, sales calls and other information through customer datebase system i.e. Sales360.
      • You will perform roles and responsibilities in compliance with Company Policies, Procedures and Instructions.

      Now, here’s what we need from you

      • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business Management, Communications, Marketing, Customer Relationship Management and Business Administration
      • Matric
      • 3 years’ experience working in marketing, operations, or sales position
      • 5 years’ experience of Key Account Management
