- Oversight of the activities and functions of a department.
- Provides functional expertise to staff and leadership.
- Ensures effective use of system resources.
- Participates in standards of practice and process improvement activities.
- Participates in hiring, oversees daily productivity, and creates staffing schedule.
- Ensures policy and procedures are followed by staff.
- Bench coverage as needed.
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 Years experience in lab services with at least 1.5 years as a clinical lab scientist.
- CLS generalist certification
This is a full time, salaried position. Primary location will either be Rancho Bernardo or Oceanside (Jefferson), but must be flexible to travel as needed. Generally, Monday through Friday, day shifts, but flexibility to cover as needed. Rapid Response Lab hours are 7am-9pm and rotating weekends.
