What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead immigration programs and serve as a subject matter expert, managing complex U.S. sponsorship processes
- Provide strategic advisory support on immigration compliance and workforce planning issues to senior leaders
- Manage relationships with external immigration counsel and ensure regulatory compliance
- Drive program improvements and utilize data to inform decisions and enhance immigration program effectiveness
- Develop and deliver training for HR and Talent Acquisition teams to promote consistency and compliance
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Experience as a subject matter expert in employment-based immigration or a closely related field
- Demonstrable ability to solve highly complex problems and manage sensitive issues
- Strong working knowledge of U.S. employment-based immigration programs and compliance requirements
- Ability to operate independently with significant judgment and discretion
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives across multiple sites or regions
- Experience managing relationships with immigration counsel or professional service providers
- Strong analytical and program management skills, including the ability to use data to drive improvements
