What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead team efforts to evaluate and enhance department systems, processes, and applications
- Provide technical support to production systems by addressing complex issues and ensuring functionality for end users
- Mentor and train associates within the work group while serving as a technical resource
- Collect and analyze data related to user requests, determining scope and system impacts
- Develop and execute test plans to validate application functions and ensure quality results
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in software application development and maintenance
OR
- High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in software application development and maintenance
- Proven ability to resolve conflicting situations to facilitate progress
- In-depth knowledge and experience with System Life Cycle Development methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile
- Experience with programming languages such as Microsoft .NET (C#), ASP.NET, SQL Scripting, and PowerShell Scripting
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) or similar code repository systems
- Advanced experience with ServiceNow or other IT service ticketing systems
- In-depth knowledge of .NET Microservices, OpenShift, and Kubernetes
- Experience as a current contractor/contingent worker for the employer
