      Who you are:

      As a Lead Teller, you are our subject matter expert. You are the first point of contact for many of our tellers and customers, and you set the standard for what it means to bank with us. Our lead tellers believe in dependability, integrity, and serve as a guide to our newest retail team members. They are empathetic problem-solvers that have a genuine care for people and consistently deliver our kind of banking experience—the kind that makes people want to stop by the bank and say hello.

      What you’ll do:

      • Perform the duties of a teller in accepting and recording payments, deposits, and other transactions

      • Provide guidance to tellers in complex customer transactions, and training for new tellers

      • Ensure adequacy of currency and coin supply

      • Balance daily settlements, such as ATM or vault

      • Keep informed of changes in services or procedures to educate, inform and earn new relationships through referrals as appropriate

      • Handle collections, notes and exchanges

      • Responsible to perform cash audits as necessary

      • Manage risk and actively practice loss prevention under principal accountabilities

      • Remain familiar with applicable policies, laws and regulations, and Bank Secrecy Act policies

      • Always take action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomes

      What you’ll need:

      • Minimum 6 months teller experience

      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

      • Excellent customer service skills

      • Ability to work in a team environment

      • Leadership and coaching ability

      • Proficient in Microsoft computer applications

      Additional Preferred Skills:

      • Cash handling experience
