- Provide administrative and legal support on Workers' Compensation matters
- File documents in EAMS and ensure proper service of pleadings and correspondence
- Utilize templates to prepare and assemble legal documents accurately and efficiently
- Manage case-related documentation and organization
- Email monthly invoices to clients and assist with billing reconciliation
- Anticipate next steps - taking A + B and getting to C and D without needing hand-holding
- Prior experience supporting Workers' Compensation cases (required)
- Hands-on experience with EAMS filings and document service
- Working knowledge of the Merus database (required)
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to think critically and independently
- Comfortable working remotely and managing tasks with minimal supervision
- A true "can-do" attitude and willingness to grow with the role
- Must have a personal computer, printer, and scanner
- Reliable internet connection suitable for fully remote work
Temporary Legal Assistant (Workers' Compensation)
Location: Fully Remote
Schedule: Part-time to start - approximately 20 hours/week
Compensation: $35/hour
Status: Temporary (with potential for expanded responsibilities and hours for the right person)
