  Join a dynamic team as a Logistics Specialist in Indianapolis, responsible for managing the flow of materials and products within a climate-controlled environment. This role is crucial in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of orders and shipments.

  Responsibilities

  • Receive and stage raw materials efficiently and accurately.
  • Label and package finished goods for shipment.
  • Utilize Oracle software to process orders, generate labels, and post shipments.
  • Conduct inventory cycle counts for precise record keeping and reporting.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
  • Create bills of lading and coordinate with carriers for shipping.
  • Process and ship international orders with attention to detail.
  • Schedule containers and prepare necessary customs documentation.

  Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in conducting inventory cycle counts.
  • Experience in shipping, warehouse, or inventory control for 1+ years.
  • Ability to create bills of lading and manage logistics processes.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Proficient computer skills, particularly with Oracle software.

  Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP systems is advantageous.
  • Skills in packaging and labeling are beneficial.
  • Forklift operation certification is preferred.

  Work Environment

  The facility maintains a climate-controlled setting to ensure materials meet customer specifications. The position is available for 1st shift, with working hours from 7AM to 3:30PM or 8AM to 4:30PM, ensuring a structured and consistent work schedule.

  This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN.

  Pay and Benefits

  The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
